Group 9 & 10 have been added!

Group 3 now has a 65/67 DNA match between Richard Lock Sr. of Calvert County Maryland USA to
Henry Lock of South Cerney, Gloucestershire, England Locke line!!!!!!!

Group 8 on the DNA results web page is a 66/67 marker match!
This is a good DNA match between Robert L. Lock of Mercer County Kentucky USA and
Thomas Lock of Lincoln County Kentucky USA.

Will of Geradis Lock of Mercer County Ky. - Monroe County, Illinois has been added.
North Carolina USA Marriage Bonds, records added

A new Group has been formed, they are the descendants of Thomas Locke and Susannah Henry of England to USA.
1 descendant of Robert L. Lock of Mercer County Kentucky early 1800's has DNA tested. He is not a DNA match to me.
This means there were at least 2 distinct unrelated Lock lines living early Mercer County Kentucky.

and 2818 Lock's listed in the USA. That is just under 14 thousand Lock(e)'s with their phone numbers listed, that doesn't include the one's with unlisted phone numbers!

Lock / Locke family DNA Project
This is a skin cell swab test, not a blood test.
This DNA kit is sent to your home, you use a little tooth brush looking thing, rub it on the inside of you mouth on your cheeks and return the sample to the company.
Later the results come back, and with enough participants, you will know to whom you are related to and to whom you are not.
They really do suggest the 25 or 37 marker test, but they are more costly.

Because, a detailed post can help you and other researchers.
Names, Dates, Places, Events etc: with in your post helps others help you.
I often get emails, and or read the message boards, that contain so little information, that even the best researcher can do nothing with the info you gave. Far to often have I seen just a name posted, William Locke, or John Locke, well folks, apparently you don't understand how many men had that name in the last 300 years. Unless it is a odd rare name, you can expect little help, because your post is so vague.
In genealogy, more is better in most cases.
